I went to Casa Enrique with my girlfriends and again for dinner with the beau and his friends and it was stellar both times! I am a huge fan of Mexican food and to be honest the LIC bistro’s Michelin star rating intrigued me.
The restaurant is located in Long Island City and has beautiful outdoor seating. It doesn’t accept reservations for dinner but they do take brunch reservations. The decor is very simple and clean with touches of Mexican flair.
I really enjoyed the classic margaritas and the Casa Enrique margarita. The guacamole is made fresh at your table and the menu is full of authentic Mexican dishes with a modern twist.
Some of my recommendations include the ceviche, Menudo a Honeycomb beef tripe in ancho chili soup and the out of this world tres leches cake!
