Who doesn’t like thai food right? But I was getting so sick of going to Spice and Jaiya that I wanted to try something new! That’s when I stumbled upon Thai Villa located in Union Square. The restaurant just opened a few months ago and it’s already gaining a ton of buzz and the lines that come with it! Unfortunately the restaurant does not take reservations so plan ahead.

The Thai Villa menu is very unique and more authentic compared to other thai spots. I loved their “privileged menu” which features dishes that were prepared for you guessed it, royalty! Do try the absolutely delicious Ray Rai Nah Phu, it’s basically minced shrimp and rice noodles with curry paste in crispy golden cups, and toped with lamp crab meat. Also the HOR MOK TALAY (shown above) featuring shrimp, scallops, squid, salmon and crab meat, curry paste, and heart of palm served in a coconut shell.
If you’re a thai food lover then definitely check out Thai Villa! Leave your experience in the comments! -M
