There are very few food options near Rockefeller center so on a desperate search for the perfect place for a business lunch in the Diamond District. While on my search, I came across The Marlin Bar and was transported to a tropical paradise hidden within the Tommy Bahama store on Fifth Avenue. It’s a self described oasis in the urban jungle and I couldn’t agree more!
The Marlin Bar is a casually chic restaurant that offers beachy and tropical fare and island inspired cocktails. I’ve been here a couple of times for business and with friends for Happy Hour and love everything on the menu! Some highlights for me include ahi tuna tacos, world famous coconut shrimp, risotto fritters and the sangria.
